Decoding Chinese Business Culture - with Tianwa Li

Tianwa Li is an MA graduate from Durham University, UK and is currently working as a freelance cross-culture consultant and interpreter based in the Frankfurt area of Germany. Originally from northern China she has worked both in the UK and Germany holding positions in the financial sector and, most recently, as procurement manager. Her work inspired her to help companies navigate the pitfalls of cultural differences in the globalized economy.

Tianwa specializes in negotiations between the West and the East, both as an engaging speaker and trainer and a skilled interpreter. She offers cutting-edge insight and practical strategies to companies wishing to establish business ties between China and Germany. As such, her work experience includes the cooperation with Chinese investors and government officials, as well the German IHK and the German Convention Bureau and chemical companies. Tianwa Li is the author of several articles, such as Doing Business in China, published in CHEManager, and her book "Decoding Chinese Business Culture" has received much praise by distinguished scholars in that field.
